Our Story

In the early days, before roads became the primary mode of travel, the Chao Phraya River was Bangkok’s lifeline.

A photo taken from across the river shows the original building that now houses INN A DAY, with the Tha Suphan Pier just in front.

This pier once connected locals to Suphanburi and beyond, serving as a key hub for river transportation and trade.

The building was once home to Jin Chieng Seng, a historic coconut sugar factory deeply rooted in this riverside community. The riverfront location, rich with history and daily life, laid the foundation for the spirit of INN A DAY.

Beside it stands the original terrazzo staircase—still intact and proudly preserved after the renovation.

This photo reflects a pivotal moment in the building’s rebirth, as the old coconut sugar factory began its journey toward becoming a riverside boutique hotel. The balance between honoring history and welcoming new stories was carefully woven into every corner

Taken from the fourth floor before the renovation, captures a breathtaking view of Wat Arun across the river.

Even in its early state, the potential of the space was undeniable—framed by the Chao Phraya and bathed in golden light, the view promised a one-of-a-kind stay for future guests.

This very scene became a guiding inspiration for the hotel’s design, reminding the family to preserve the soul of the location while opening its doors to travelers from around the world.
